The Palazzo BOM, which launches in April 2024, features an exclusive monthly Foundation Paper Piecing quilt pattern designed by Kitty Wilkin (Night Quilter) in partnership with the Aurifil 50wt Italian Color Builders.
Aurifil Thread Builders
The Palazzo BOM begins in April and runs for 12 months. Each month will showcase one of the Aurifil Italian Colour Builder collections.
Initially introduced in January 2020, Aurifil’s Italian Colour Builders are a capsule of twelve curated mini-collections inspired by (and named after) Italy’s most vibrant and colourful destinations.
Each collection contains three large spools of 50wt thread — a warm, a medium, and a dark — within the location’s primary colour palette.
They are Aurifil’s best-sellers… our go-to hues that quilters reach for again and again… a rich and instant thread stash.
The Palazzo Quilt
To compliment the Colour Builders, there is an exclusive pattern! Featuring a monthly Foundation Paper Piecing quilt pattern designed by the amazing Kitty.
Subscribers will receive monthly patterns, tips & tricks, and exclusive videos from Kitty herself.
The Palazzo Quilt Kit BOM
I am so exited to be able to offer you a full fabric kit featuring 28 co-ordinating Art Gallery Fabrics colours to each of your Palazzo Aurifil threads.
Each month along with your threads, I am giving you to option to upgrade your kits and you will receive the co-ordinating fabric colours and background to make that months blocks for the free pattern.
I have added extra listings so you can now purchase: thread only, thread and quilt top fabric or double up your colour fabrics to give you a little extra.
I want to make this as easy as possible for you, so I will be breaking down the fabric kits to a simple monthly package. This will include just the right amount of fabric to complete the quilt top pattern.
Being able to double up the main colours in this kit to give you extra to work with on your own projects.
As you will have lots of thread left to play with this is a great opportunity to buy a little more fabric in a smaller quantity.
Most of the coloured fabrics are Fat Eighths, and we all know it is not easy to get those in most shops.
You will have the option to purchase the fabric requirements for the quilt top which total 7.5m of fabric or if you double up, you will receive 11.5m. (I have not doubled up the background fabrics as that would be 7m!).
