Welcome to the first look at my selection of fabric choices for our next Mystery Quilt with Sheila Christensen. The Field of Dreamers Mystery Quilt starts in February 2026.
What is a Mystery Quilt?
If you have never heard of the Mystery Quilt then let me fill you in with what is on offer. This is a quilt designed by Sheila Christensen @mysteryquilter and it is a puzzle quilt over 10 months.
The main feature of this BOM and the part that sets it aside for other Mystery Quilts, is that ALL the pieces come to your PRE-CUT! That’s right there is no cutting involved, so when the parcel arrives you can just open up and start sewing.
Each parcel contains that month’s puzzle instructions and all the pre-cut fabric pieces to make the blocks. Pieces are kept simple: triangles, squares and rectangles and at the end the final puzzle is revealed to give you a beautiful finished quilt top.
It is a Mystery or puzzle as you don’t know what the finished quilt will look like until the final reveal, but the quilts are very cleverly designed by Sheila and always turn out fabulous.

What are your options?
Each of these sevemn colourways I have carefully selected for you to choose from, so I hope you see something that takes your fancy?
Here is a closer look at the fabrics chosen for this Mystery Quilt.
Aspiration – Friday Night

My first selection in the Field of Dreamers Mystery Quilt is from Friday Night designed by Karen Lewis for Andover Fabrics.

Connection in Petals & Stitches

My next selection from Petal & Stitches by Stephanie Organes for Andover Fabrics.

Faith in Phantasm

My next selection is from a Halloween themed range called Phantasm by Libs Elliott for Andover Fabrics.

Hope in Plain & Simple

This quilt is called Hope and is from a Makower Fabrics range called Plain & Simple.

Nightglow in Graywork

A return to Tula Pink for Mystery Quilt and this time we are featuring Graywork. I predict this will be a popular one, so don’t hang around.
My last mono chrome quilt for Tula using Lineworks flew off the shelf. This is my only quilt that is the same design and fabric as a Cotton Cuts design so I have named it the same to avoid any confusion in the group.

Nostalgia in Driftwood

This quilt is called Nostalgia and is from a Makower Fabrics range called Driftwood.

Vision in Color Me Whispered

This quilt is called Vision and is from Stephanie Organes collection called Color Me Whispered for Andover Fabrics.
